The Pillar and Post Inn and Spa was originally constructed in the 1890s as a canning factory for peaches and tomatoes (named Factory 13 in past times). In the 1970s, the factory was converted into a restaurant, and bedrooms were constructed to house 35 guests. Decades later, NIACON Ltd. completed major renovations while still maintaining the 19th century structure to incorporate an additional 87 guests. This historic building located in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a popular attraction for weddings and special events.
