Encompassing approximately 8,000 square feet of new interior space, the new addition included a new high-end night club, Spyce Lounge, state of the art sound system, special effect lighting, in-floor heating, and an exterior wall the opens to the exterior patio facing the Niagara Falls Boulevard night life brought by the Fallsview Casino. A new hotel entrance was constructed, and a 14-foot automatic revolving door installed, adding class, sophistication, and appeal to the grand entrance. Complementing the nightlife and in an effort to appeal to the day time tourists in the vicinity, Mercato Market Café was also constructed in the new space. Catering food in concessions such as soft-serve ice cream, brick oven pizza, and coffee; tempting the passersby. The shops also have the ability to open to the outdoors via large vertical sectional doors, an open invitation to the uniquely finished and decorated spaces. On the exterior space of the hotel, a campanile was constructed from the ground up, adding challenges to the control and safety of traffic and pedestrians during its construction on such a high traffic area. It’s approximate 90 foot height, vintage faced clock, high resolution video monitors, and copper roof cap, make this landmark an iconic addition to its surroundings. All projects were constructed in unison and completed to the quality standards and satisfaction of the owner.
