This project entailed the renovation of a decommissioned police station that was repurposed for the City of Niagara Falls as municipal offices. The extent of work included new structural components, a new clear story for natural lighting at the main entrance, new roof, new exterior composite panel cladding, new EIFS accent panels, all new glazing, new entrances, all new partitions with new interior finishes, and new doors with finish hardware. Additionally, upgraded plumbing, HVAC, electrical and data communication to suit the new occupancy requirements was also integrated to the new layout. The building’s site was also revamped with new subtle landscaping features to refresh and compliment the new look of the municipal building.
