One of the first high-rise hotels to appear in Niagara Falls, the Oakes Hotel (Niagara Hotel) was originally constructed in 1797, when an unforeseen fire burnt the hotel down and it was reconstructed as the Pavilion Hotel. The tower stood for several decades when an unfortunate occurrence required the building to be demolished. NIACON was given the opportunity to develop and construct the 21-storey glass facade and steel structure tower. The hotel features a 3 highspeed glass enclosed elevators with a one-of-a-kind view of the Niagara Falls.
